The property for our new home presented many site challenges with a multitude of elevation changes. Miller Creek Lawn and Landscaping transformed those challenges into opportunities creating a gorgeous one-of-a-kind setting. Miller Creek truly exceeded our expectations.

Miller Creek began by meticulously prepping the site with all the proper foundation work necessary for the hardscaping, retaining walls, gardens, lawn and erosion control. In our previous experience with other landscapers, all too often the critical prep work was overlooked or inadequate. Exacting prep work, however, is the vital foundation from which everything else is built upon. Miller Creek takes no shortcuts and understands that proper “below ground work” insures a long lasting “above ground” landscape.

The trees, shrubs, perennials and all the other quality plantings from the Miller Creek Garden Center add beautiful color and texture to the yard year round. The boulder retaining walls address the elevation changes and are an excellent backdrop to the foliage. The driveway cobble stones and stone walkways add character and the fire pit and patio are great gathering places. It’s very welcoming and makes you feel at home. And that’s really what it’s all about….

We talked with several friends and neighbors about their experience with Troy and Miller Creek. We drove by several projects and checked out their work. We didn't hear one negative experience with Miller Creek and everyone was totally satisfied with their projects. Troy met with us and is so obviously enthusiastic about his work. Our project was completed in the time that was estimated and it went quickly and smoothly. It was a thrill to come home after work to see the progress that happened each day. We were impressed with the professionalism of the young crew members who were obviously well-trained, extremely polite and courteous. The work area was always picked up each day and trash, discarded plants, etc. taken with the crew when they left the work site. The crew leader checked in with us each morning to tell us what was going to happen and what to expect that day. Troy checked in regularly and made sure we were satisfied with the progress of the work.

We first met Troy Grohsman 3 years ago when we were ready to landscape our yard. He met several times with us to make sure he understood our thoughts. We are very pleased with the end product: garden where was once a hill; retaining wall and steps to a paved patio in the back; and paver entry way with landscaping to frame our entry.

We appreciate the incorporation of a "green vision" from the type of material used to fill in the beds to the environmental eye to sustaining our property for both human and animal eyes: butterflies allowed, deer deterred! This has resulted in a continuing relationship and a project plan that we could implement in stages.
