Director of Lawn & Garden Management

Requirements

  • Clean driving record, with valid driver's license
  • DOT Medical card
  • Communication skills
  • Shrub, evergreen, rose, and tree knowledge
  • Fertilizer, pesticide, pests and fungal knowledge
  • Sales experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Efficient
  • Team oriented
  • Work evenings and weekends
  • Certified Pesticide Applicator

Duties Include

  • Estimating and evaluating lawns and landscapes
  • Garden Management: Aeration, Pests, Fungus, Lawn Treatments, Lawn Restorations, Pruning
  • Preparing proposals and necessary paperwork for the above areas
  • Managing and training for areas listed above
  • Working with staff on greenhouse watering/plant care
  • Pests and Fungus control in greenhouse and retail lot
  • Cashiering at Garden Center when needed
  • Assisting customers at Garden Center when needed
  • Selecting site appropriate plant material

These duties are not just limited to the above; they will also include any area where Miller Creek needs assistance.
